International Nonsuch Association
Nonsuch Association

The Nonsuch® is the inspiration of Gordon Fisher, who with yacht designer Mark Ellis, approached George Hinterhoeller to build a comfortable cruising boat. This idea has produced over 950 boats from 22' to 36' that are enjoyed today by sailors of all types. Nonsuches are unique as are the sailors that love them.

Abaco Bahamas Nonsuch Rendezvous
March 12 to 20, 2019

Are you sailing to or in the Bahamas area this winter?

Patricia (Tutti) Phelan N30U #239 - Keltic Kat has proposed a rendezvous in Abaco Bahamas

This will be more of a "Cruisers" rather than a "Racers" Rendezvous and the program will vary according to tide times and wind speeds.  Entering the harbours often requires high tide even for boats with a 5 foot draft.  There will be one real race day with the Hope Town Sailing Club since they race every second Wed. if the weather is suitable.  Sometimes the race is postponed so there will not be a set schedule for events.  Only the dates will be definite with the opening event on March 12.

A proposed schedule follows. Also there is a Cruising Advice article attached.

Contact Tutti Phelan if you are interested in joining the group
