Nonsuch Association
The Nonsuch® is the inspiration of Gordon Fisher, who with yacht designer Mark Ellis, approached George Hinterhoeller to build a comfortable cruising boat. This idea has produced over 950 boats from 22' to 36' that are enjoyed today by sailors of all types. Nonsuches are unique as are the sailors that love them.

The International Nonsuch Association is committed to the enjoyment of Nonsuch class sailboat cruising, racing and general fellowship. It sponsors a biennial International Rendezvous, maintains one-design control for fair and competitive racing within the class, provides unique Nonsuch parts and services enabling INA members to maintain and protect their investment in a high quality yacht. The association encourages and supports participation in our partner Regional Associations who organize events close to where you sail.

Solomons Nonsuch Fleet Rendezvous 2016 - Sept 16-18

Solomons Nonsuch Fleet (SNF) representatives attending a CBNA Winter meeting were asked to consider again hosting the annual Chesapeake Bay Nonsuch Association Fall Rendezvous as we had done two years prior.  Soon we had our own burgee and began meeting every Tuesday night for dinner and planning.

We were fairly confident of a good response from the Chesapeake Bay folks, having had a successful experience with the rendezvous back in 2014.  Then we decided to approach the INA with an open invitation to participate, and interested Nonsuchers replied from North Carolina to Michigan to California and Canada.  It was time to get serious.

Nova Scotia Nonsuch Association 2016 Rendezvous Report

Another successful NSNA rendezvous has passed. The 2016 event included 12 boats with 35 participants, skippers and crew. Indeed a good time for all. Lunenburg Yacht club hosted the 1st night and South Shore Marine the 2nd night.

This year’s winner of the Geo-cruise was "Fog Hollow, NS 33" owned and sailed by Glenn and Deb Brunt. They had crew on board for the event, Barb Perry and Sandy Dykstra. They are also the first name to appear on our new trophy for the Geo-cruise donated by Ray and Sandy Dykstra visiting from BC. It was a beautiful day for a sail and there were no walk-away winners. The race made for beautiful photo opportunities! Watch for photos on NSNA website soon. See the full race results.
